Solitaire

Welcome to 926 Solitaire! Solitaire, also known as Patience, is a timeless card game beloved for its unique blend of strategy, concentration, and solitary enjoyment. With a rich history spanning centuries, Solitaire has remained a popular pastime for individuals seeking a mental challenge or a moment of quiet reflection.

Game Strategy

Objective:

The goal of Solitaire is to move all the cards to a foundation, sorting them by suit and rank in ascending order from Ace to King. There are typically four foundation piles, one for each suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades).

Setup:

Start with a standard deck of 52 playing cards.

Shuffle the deck and deal seven piles of cards, with the first pile containing one card, the second two cards, the third three cards, and so on. All cards in the last pile should be face up.

Gameplay:

The top card of each tableau pile is face-up, and the rest are face-down. You can only move the face-up cards.

Cards can be moved from one tableau pile to another if they are in descending order and of alternating colors (e.g., a black 7 can be placed on a red 8).

You can also move cards to the foundation piles in ascending order (e.g., an Ace can be placed on a foundation followed by a Two, Three, and so on).

As you free up cards from tableau piles, you can turn over the face-down cards to reveal their faces and make them available for play.

If you can't make any more moves, you can draw a card from the deck and try to incorporate it into your tableau or foundation piles.

Continue moving and arranging cards until all cards are in the foundation piles, sorted by suit and rank from Ace to King.

Winning:

The game is won when all 52 cards are successfully moved to the foundation piles, creating four stacks of cards from Ace to King for each suit.

Solitaire is a game of skill, strategy, and patience, often enjoyed for its solitary and relaxing nature. It has numerous variations and can be played on a physical game board or digitally on a computer or mobile device.
